Of the Colorado JAN 07 Colorado shows, this is the best recording. As noted, 2nd set was classic Deep Groove moe - superb.

it sometimes annoys me when I see a review that is overwhelmingly positive yet carries a three-star rating. I agree with most of what usefulidiot said about the difference between the first and second sets. The second set definitely blew the roof off, so much so that it erased the first set from my mind. I was having fun at the begining of the show, and if it had carried forward from there without improvement I would call this a three-star show. But the sound quality is excellent,firstly, and i believe the first set must be taken as the necessary suspense that precedes any great performance. We are rating a show here, not individual sets, and I believe that this show deserves to be downloaded rather than being pidgeon-holed with all the rest of the three-star shows. Five Stars for coming through when it matters and for building up rather than dying down.

THIS SHOW ROCKED, awesome venue, short first set, but definately nothing lacking. moe. played with vengence for the 2nd set, and needless to say jeff austin rippppppped it up on waiting for the punchline. AWESOME song, and with the unexpected pleasure of bayliss on st. aug. left me VERY happy, to finish off with faker > the road > yodelittle reprise, sweeeet, really good sound for this venue, thanks to whoever put this up rock on.

im not sure if moe. was tried or what but the 1st set wasnt to good, but the ending gave it hope, another one gone (new song btw whch was great) followed by the pre-madonna plane crash, which was my 1st time hearing plane crash. they got straight to the point on 2nd set, opener buster into a very well pilot yodelittle..imo thee best 2nd set in a couple of years...jeff austin ripp'd it up on waiting for the punchline...which followed by the rest of the set and ended w/ the faker, (which was a little to slow) then ending the show w/ where they left out in the beginning of the 2nd set yodelittle (reprise)

sound quality is amazing for being taped at the Fillmore ***4 out of 5 stars***

overall show ***3 out of 5 stars***

imo thee opener of the run at the Fox Theatre was prob thee best show out of the 3 nite run in fabulous colorado!
